In Year 6 have the following homework:
Daily reading of their book.
Spellings:
Every Monday your child will be given a new set of spellings to learn. They will be tested on these spellings on a Monday.
Children must practise their spellings by writing out their spellings in their spelling book.
At the start of the year we had an Ancient Egyptian workshop, where we experienced writing like an Egyptian scribe; we used reed pens and papyrus.
We also played two different Ancient Egyptian games and explored many interesting and insightful artifacts.
